What is your name?

My name is D’An Green and I am a CNA at Fort Sanders Sevier Nursing Home.

How long have you worked at Fort Sanders Sevier Nursing Home?

I have worked here for 5 years.

What led you to become a CNA?

I started here to get my foot in the door, in hopes of becoming a registered nurse one day.

What do you enjoy the most about working at FSSNH?

Caring for the residents. They are a part of my daily life and I spend as much time with them as I do my own family. They depend on us for so much so it’s important to me to provide them with the best care.

What is one of your best memories from working here?

I love seeing the residents that have gone home, but still come back to visit me.

Why should someone join the team at FSSNH?

This is a smaller facility so we are able to spend more one-on-one time with our patients. We work as a team so each member of the nursing staff will provide the same great level of care.
