Quality Care, Close to Home

Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, LeConte Medical Center offers a full array of medical specialties and advanced technology often found only at medical facilities in larger cities.

LeConte Medical Center is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and our emergency department sees nearly 54,000 patients each year —  the busiest ER in Covenant Health. Our radiology department is accredited in every advanced imaging procedure.  And at our Dolly Parton Center for Women’s Services, women can get their annual 3D mammogram as well as receiving any needed follow-up care at Thompson Cancer Survival Center-Sevier on our hospital campus.

Our orthopedic team includes surgeons, physical therapists, and athletic trainers ready to get you moving quickly after injury or joint replacement surgery.

This week, LeConte Medical Center celebrated the birthday of its oldest volunteer: David Barber, a U.S. Marine and World War II veteran, who turned 98 years old. Barber volunteers at the hospital three days a week assisting patients and hospital visitors. Barber is one of the first faces patients and visitors see when they walk through the hospital lobby, but on this day, it was he who was greeted by balloons, cake, and room full of well-wishers and friends. Thank you for your service and volunteer spirit! ... See MoreSee Less
