Volunteer Scholarship Fund
LeConte Medical Center is committed to helping our employees and volunteers continue their journey of excellence through learning! The Volunteer Scholarship Fund was created for that exact purpose. With this scholarship, we aim to financially assist members of the LeConte Medical family who are interested in pursuing education in the healthcare field.
Volunteer Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
We invite all of our volunteers and employees to apply for this scholarship. Currently, eligibility is open to the following:
- Current junior volunteer
- Current adult volunteer
- Current hospital employee
- Dependent child of a current hospital employee
How to Apply to the Volunteer Scholarship Fund
Interested in applying? Please download and complete the following two forms:
Each applicant will need to complete the application including information about your school and work history, interests and hobbies, awards and a 200-word essay describing how this scholarship will further your education and future in the healthcare industry.
The application and reference form can be completed either electronically or printed. If you complete it electronically don’t forget to get all required signatures before turning it in.
Applicants will also need three references to fill out the reference form linked above. Choose people who can attest to why you deserve this scholarship. References cannot be family members. Reference forms must be sent in by the application deadline via email, standard mail, or hand delivered to our offices.
Scholarship Application Deadlines
All completed application materials are due to the Volunteer Services office by Friday, March 31, 2024.

- Delivered to us in person. The Volunteer Services Office is located at LeConte Medical Center just off the main lobby near the information desk.
