LeConte Staff Receives Silver Lamp Awards

Congratulations to Amanda Proctor, a telemetry tech in Critical Care, and Brooke Earley, an LPN in the Medical-Surgical Unit, for being chosen as LeConte’s Silver Lamp Award winners for this year. The Silver Lamp Awards are presented by The Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee to enhance the skills of dedicated healthcare professionals.

The Silver Lamp Award was created in 2006 to honor the “Lady with the Lamp,” Florence Nightingale. The award acknowledges outstanding contributions of healthcare professionals in their areas of clinical expertise. The recipients receive scholarship funds in the amount of $2,500 toward their continuing education.

Proctor and Earley are both currently enrolled in the nursing program at Walters State Community College and this award will allow them both to make significant progress toward continuing their education.
