LeConte Medical Center Welcomes Junior Volunteers

Our Junior Volunteer Program is underway.

Our junior volunteers will have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas in the hospital, Fort Sanders Nursing Home and Thompson Cancer Center. Teens will have the chance to meet healthcare professionals, learn about various healthcare careers, participate in educational sessions and tours as well as volunteer in many areas within the hospital. These guys will receive hands-on experience through volunteering.

 The program is meant to foster interest in the future healthcare leaders of tomorrow, while serving their communities. It provides high school students the opportunity to get involved in real healthcare situations.

 While they are here at LeConte, the volunteers will receive a free meal on days they work, 10% off purchases in our gift shop and scholarship opportunities.
