- About Us
This week is National Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week and we are happy to celebrate the members of our cardiac rehab team who keep our patients’ hearts strong and healthy. Our nationally certified program helps patients restore physical fitness and function after a serious cardiac or pulmonary event. Our staff uses a combination of exercise, education, and counseling to help patients regain their lives back.
Read why the members of our cardiac rehab team are passionate about what they do below. We are very thankful to have these talented individuals at LeConte Medical Center.
Jay: My favorite part of working in cardiac rehab is the relationships I have built in the program. Our patients spend 2-4 months with us and it’s our job to provide a great experience and a good outcome. What is most surprising though, is how much the patients touch our hearts. We get to help them both physical and emotionally, but they help us too.
Kaitlyn: I enjoy seeing our patients each week and watching them improve. My favorite part is seeing them get back to doing what they love.
Sabrina: My favorite part of working in cardiac rehab is the patients and staff I work with. Because of them, I love my job.
Steve: I enjoy having the opportunity to serve people during a difficult time by helping educate them about their heart health so they are able to live a long and healthy life.
