DAISY Award Winner – Donna Dunn

Donna Dunn, a nurse in our Day Surgery department was recently awarded the DAISY Award for her excellent care she provides her patients in the surgery setting.

Over the past year, Donna has received more than 20 DAISY nominations, a testament to the consistently excellent care she provides to her patients.
One nominator said, “Donna went above and beyond taking care of my every need. The world would be a better place if more people were like her.”

Many of her nominations mentioned that they were nervous prior to surgery and Donna’s display of compassion and genuine concern helped make them feel more at ease.
