Medical Records, or Health Information Management (HIM) as it is now known, is responsible for your complete medical record once you have been discharged from the hospital.
Medical records are kept on site, either in their original form or in a digital format. If you need a copy of your medical record, please call 865.446-8625 or send an e-mail with your contact information. Our HIM staff will be happy to help you with this process.
For those persons born at LeConte Medical Center and seeking a copy of your birth certificate, please note that we do not keep copies of birth certificates on our premises. Original certificates are all sent to the state for filing.

The Medical Records/HIM Department at LeConte Medical Center is located on the 2nd Floor of the Dolly Parton Center for Women's Services. For your convenience when picking up your medical records you should park in Parking Lot G. Medical Records is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
