LeConte Medical Center Infusion Center pharmacist Dennis Woods received his board certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS). Through the rigorous standards mandated by BPS board certification and recertification, the BPS board certified pharmacists stand out as the most qualified to take on today’s expanding professional expectations.

Oncology pharmacy specialists recommend, design, implement, monitor and modify pharmacotherapeutic plans to optimize outcomes in patients with malignant diseases. Those who are granted certification in this specialty receive the designation Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP).
