CT Department
- 2 CT Scanners
- Provide all aspects of CT exams from brain, abdomen, extremities and biopsy procedures
Diagnostic X-ray
- 1 Radiographic and Fluoro Room to perform GI studies and special procedures
- 2 Digital X-ray Rooms
- Images displayed on computer monitors immediately just like your digital camera
- Provide all aspects of diagnostic exams from Chest, spine and extremity X-rays
Ultrasound Department
- The Ultrasound Department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR)
- 3 Private scanning rooms
- New mobile ultrasound unit to allow us to do patients at bedside
- Provide all aspects of ultrasound exams from obstetrics, abdominal, vascular and biopsies
Cardio-Pulmonary
- Provide all aspects of cardio and respiratory exams such as:
- Pulmonary Function Testing- evaluate lung function
- Echo/TEE – an ultrasound of the heart muscle and function
- TEE- transesophageal primarily performed to access for blood clot or know heart value disease
- The Cardio Lab is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (ICAEL)
Cardiac Cath Lab
The cath lab supports 4 local cardiologists, and includes a nursing work area for patient monitoring and charting, and 2 Recovery bays.
Services provided include:
- Diagnostic heart catherizations performed to evaluate the extent of blockage in the heart and make recommendations for treatment
- Cardio-version may be performed to shock the heart back into rhythm
Nuclear Medicine
- 2 Private scanning rooms
- Provide all aspects of nuclear medicine exams such as bone, heart, lung, GI and kidney imaging.
- Nuclear Medicine is used to stage disease, evaluate stress fractures and heart disease
MRI
- The MRI lab is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR)
- The MRI suite is designed for future expansion
- MRI uses a magnet to image spines, extremities to evaluate tears in the joints, brain for stroke as well as kidneys to evaluate blockage

ACR Accredited
LeConte Diagnostic Services is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in mammography, MRI, and ultrasound. The ACR accreditation programs show patients, referring physicians, other healthcare providers, and insurance companies that a particular facility provides quality patient care. Each of the accreditation programs requires that the personnel providing these services meet specific qualifications. They must also meet equipment requirements and demonstrate ongoing quality assurance. Participation in the voluntary programs shows LeConte's commitment to maintaining ongoing quality.
